What's with the smiley face?

for some reason that was the first thing i wanted. funny anecdote: it was done by the artist who inks all the Hell's Angels colors for San Jose, CA chapter members :)

i was gonna leave it at that, but then came up with the 7-enclosed-circles idea, with that symbolizing my constant search for happiness at the "root" of things, if you will...

the one above that is a lion cuz i was born in august... above that now i have a Freak Power logo (which will be familiar to anyone who's read Hunter S. Thompson)...

but i'm trying to get a different artist to do each one, and i'm picky about who i have stick needles in me, so it's slow going.

I'm hoping to get inked next week, I just need to work this week for the money.

I am getting my Hawaiian family crest, it is going to cover most of my shoulder blade, come down my chest a bit, and wrap around my arm (like a short sleeve).

I've been wanting to do it for a year, and I met the artist about 7 months ago when he did a tattoo for my cousin, and since then I've kept in touch and checked out more of his work.

My friend is working on covering most of his body. Everything covered by a t shirt and shorts will be all tattoo'd, and nothing else :P stealth mode with clothes on.
