Thanks for the responses guys. I will let you know how it goes tomorrow after I go check it out. I know someone that has been a BMW Tech for about 25 years now and he is coming with me. I was wondering the samething about the Alpinas. Alpinas aren't really my bag, so if I purchase the car I will probably sell them. Well I will let you guys know and I am going to try to snap some more pictures. Thanks

Oh well, one nice looking car
          What's "Americanized" about it?

Are those genuine Alpinas? (They look 16", but I'm too lazy to count the spokes).
US grills, US ellipsoids, sidemarkers, etc.

probably had to have the DOT conversion to a German spec car. Don't all the comments on Alpinas apply to 4 lug and not 5 lug? Those look to have a lot of dish and look genuine to me. I dig 'em on the M3, they look a lot nicer than the ones on the Alpina Police car.

Conversion for the headlights and guages.

BUT, German m3's usually did not come with a leather interior, and door panles. I also think it would still have the Euro grills, euro toe hook covers, NO AC, and NO engine fan.

It would be a waste of money to add the US parts there.

Well guys, the car got sold. Not to me. The owner sold it this morning before I even got to look at it. If anyone knows of any M3's in the New England area for sale let me know. Thanks
