whats a better way of spending the little amount of cash...

whats a better way of spending the little amount of cash I have?

1)Euro Grill's and a spare kidney to paint black.
2)Non-Hella, non-Bosch (he cant remember the brand) H4's with bulbs.

both would be sorta close to the same price (grills a little cheaper)...
I cant decide... I've been wanting euro grills and a black kidney for a long time, but I cant see shit at night, especially in bad weather. Looks or function?? Damn, i cant decide... what do you all think?

Save up a little longer and get some ellipsoids. I'll be getting Ellipsoids eventually once i have the money. Im not very happy with the H4s

but I heard that the lighting from ellipsoids is much worse than H4's. correct me if I am wrong! I like how ellipsoids look much better, but...

My friend has H4s and I have ellipsoids. the H4s seem much brighter, but the ellipsoids look soo cool. ;)

except, these were BOSCH H4s, not generic ones.. the beam pattern and lighting abilities of generic brands are probably not too good.

The lighting from Ellips won't be any better than the lighting from your H4s. It all depends on the bulb.

                318driver,
If you're not happy with your H4s and Osrams, you won't be any happier with ellipsoids. I've had H4s with Osram Silverstars and they were the brightest lights that I've ever had in my car. I've also had US ellips and put 9005 bulbs in the low beam, and that was the only way I could drive with them. You're not going to get more light out of ellips unless you go HID.

I'd agree with Chris. As far as light output goes, H-Code lamps will be brighter than Ellipsoids (with halogens in both). However, the ellipsoids look cooler and have a better beam pattern.

Overall, I'd go with the H4s instead of the euro grilles.

I say get the headlights. You wouldnt want to drop that money on the grilles and then smash them up a few nights later cause you couldnt see the deer standing in the road. Know what I mean?
