Well here it is: (or a picture of the same model)

It's not quite what I had in mind but it was $100 and hasn't been registered or run sice 1977-1979ish. For anyone who cares it's a pedal start with a manual clutch. You hold the clutch, pedal, release the clutch to pop start and you are off. No battery, no starter, very light. I've got it mostly torn down & will send out the wheels this week to be refinished. I'll have the frame repainted and hope to have it back up and running by September-ish.

          Reminds me of the joke:

Mopeds and fat chicks are very similar:

Fun to ride, till your buddies find out.

Scooters ftw. I've had a Zuma for about 5 years now and still enjoy cruising around town on it.

Thats a pretty badass bike. Don't mind the rednecks and morons on this board. You called them on the projecting - they probably just don't know what it is. Like I've always said - people can call me gay all day long if it helps them for one moment feel like they may not be.

This thread is about EXPIRED. Try not to lose topic. Moped or Vespa, remember?

BOLD gazelle, fucking bold. If you had 2 mopeds and a buddy to cruise with you'd probably change you mind.

Vespas are awesome retro rides, but they are crappy engines and ride like a powered bicycle. Mopeds are scooters with more power and bolt on options. I'd recommend a vespa unless you really want to be riding in that left lane,
don't worry about looking like a fag riding a moped, just don't own one with a bunch of "Jesus" shit painted on it

Don't let post count tell you who's a noob. Check the 02 boards for myself and tjwinston. Unfortunately, both of our 02's are off the roads otherwise you wouldn't see me here.

I think mopeds are for fags, generally speaking.... I can see only one exception to this rule....

IF (big if) you live in a densely populated city (Hong Kong for example), then fine.... The one and only time I drove a Vespa was in Europe... but it made sense, driving a car around was a bitch half the time, and parking was even worse....

                              GET A BIKE

The guy already said it's mostly for his girlfriend and she doesn't want a bike.
