With the tools that I have, it would be very easy. Friction saw. 15000 feet per minute. (tooth speed)

      owch, sounds like some damage.

im thinking more along the lines of something made by milwaukee, starts with an "S", rhymes with awzall

jk, im thinking more along the lines of a plasma cutter/air cutter?

There's no way to cut a block with anything that isn't a continuous blade saw. I.E. - A plasma cutter won't work because it only cuts up to a certain thickness. Same with any kind of air cutoff wheel. You won't be able to cut deep enough.

Best bet would be a BIG band saw. Keep it well lubricated and giver her hell. ;)

As far as a camshaft or crank, are you talking about cutting it lengthwise, or widthwise (shorten it)? The only hard part I see about cutting it lengthwise is clamping/holding it in place, given it's awkward shape.

i bet, ever put your hand in front of a power washer where the water comes out? I did that once accidentally and it cut my hand, and im pretty sure that was only somewhere around 2000psi.

Pressure washers are no joke. Especially when you have a "0" nozzle. I used to work at an apartment complex and powerwashed a hole in the parking lot all the way into the dirt. lol. I think it was something like 3500 psi hot water.

You should have gotten that checked out. Pressure washers have a warning about that because the potential of forcing air into your bloodstream is very likely in the event that you pierce the surface of your skin. My pressure washer even has a card that you are supposed to take to the emergency room with you so that they know exactly what you shot yourself with.
