    E24 wide body?

    Did BMW ever make a widebody E24? I thought I remember seeing a picture of one that was a prototype. If somebody knows what I'm talking about, please post that picture; I need it. Thanks.

    Yes, the E24 V12 prototype. BMW built it and it had the 4.5 liter V12 prototype.

            That is awesome - a sneak peak at the bmw engineers at "play"...

            Auto? bad bumper? THAT IS a test using parts from the "parts bin" at the factory...engineers having fun...

            That car is awesome....wish they had made it....It would have been a "real" "m" car....

              I don't think the one in that pic was a factory car. I do remember seeing it now, but seems like there was a different story.

              I've seen some body kits that are gawd-awful. The one successful one IMHO is a guy that calls himself Mzilla. Think he's in Socal and hangs out on Roadfly (though haven't seen him there in a while):
