Looks like I'll need to put a cap on the first group buy. I may limit the number of units to 20. (These are being "built to order")

Do the lights come on when you turn the car off, like the newer models? I like that feature on my E36.

So, if you have the relay, you're fine. Every e30 I've seen has them.
To check to see if you do with out removing anything, go out when it is REALLY quite, and stick your head about where the speaker is. Then with a finger push the switch on the door jam.
