    e30 with some front dammage

325i with 114k miles on it, runs well.

Interior is very clean, damage to the fender/hood/grill/bumper

Seller is firm at 1300, good deal? Are those body panels easy to source in red?

I wouldn't pay more than $400 for that car.

Yep, $400-$500 seems about right. No more than $700.

1000 seems reasonable, 1300 might be a little bit of a strech but it seems like a good clean start for a project car. still has a lot of life left in it

thats interesting you guys feel the value of the car is so low in its current condition. Seems like a fairly easy fix with damage to parts that can be interchanged easily.

front fender, hood (unless you want to fix it), front bumper (buy or fix), I think you'll spend around 1000 fixing it unless you do it yourself (Might be more, i'm not familiar with prices of labor in the states, that is what it would cost here in chile).

add the 1300 to the estimate cost on fixing, and see if it's a good deal.

Even if you fix it, you still have to pay for your time. ;)

if the motor is solid, and u can do the repairs yourself, then anything <$1000 is decent. $5-600 would be a deal.

That is odd, I look at that car and think one thing - part out.

I have no hang-ups about taking an e30 off the road.

Lol, you would part out a car because it needs a $50 fender?

If the engine is strong then it is a good buy.

Looks easily fixable. I'd say it could be worth up to $1000 considering the miles and the fact that it's 5 speed. Would I pay that much for it? Nope.

I had a car with similar damage and I paid around $400 for bumper, valence, hood, and fender and did all the work myself. Has the car officially been totalled?

Aside from the hard-to-find-used bumper, that car is an easy fix. If I was writing that thing for insurance (my job) I could have that thing fixed easy.
Value? I wouldn't give more than $1000 tops for it though. $750 seems like a number I could live with. Less is always better. Looks like a pretty nice interior, though, which if you want it as a street car is worth some extra.
If you think you're going to find same color body parts, though, you're delusional. Even if you can find them in red, they are very unlikely to match, as red is very fade-prone, and no two cars fade alike. Better budget painting them in your estimate.
I paid $1000 for my SE 30 donor with bad clear, a mediocre interior, two fenders that didn't match and the front end in pieces from a similar hit. I was tired of shopping and could probably have done better, but for a few hundred bucks I didn't care. Turned out the car was mechanically sound and well maintained, so I saved some money not having to buy a lot of deferred maintenance parts. Take all that into consideration.
