Give it a shot. It adds 10 points street cred.

Replace the muffler bearing. The kiniffler pin usually wears out and causes the car to lose hp. If that doesn't work, try topping off your headlight fluid.

try it lol, you could always return it, or as you said sell it to a ricer.

seriously tho, in my opinion built NA motors are the way to go, performance and reliability rolled into one. Turbos def will get the job done.

Since you don't have a big budget,
                      Long tube headers
free flowing exhaust, no cat with high flow muffler or high flow car and muffler.
maybe a set of gears? 3.73 or 4.10's?
                      and a chip

You could always do like ricers and put lots of stickers on for a good 50HP.

Leaf blower mod, and if you do use the turbonator, you have to get a turbo sticker. This kid with a cavalier at my high school did that...but was serioous

diff/chip/possibly M30 AFM. BTW, the cheapest form of HP is losing weight. The car, I mean. Car will also be faster maintaining speed through corners with suspension.

if I stuck a nos sticker on anything and tried to sell it to some ricer around here, I'd get shot up by his ricer homies before I could even tell them how much I wanted for it.
