Annoying ass *dinging* sound from gauge cluster? Help!

Me too, I need a new OBC. Mine is crazy, it flashes shit that looks like the matrix unless you push the temp or date button a few times, then it settles down.

Now my RPM tach is working periodically, I have no idea what's up with that. I guess I just need to replace the cluster with the extra I bought a while back? It won't work and then a few minutes into my drive it'll spring to life.

Your temp sensor is not plugged in. It registers -22F due to the negative return on the sensor.

so throw it the fuck out. I smashed mine to shit one day. Now there is an oil pressure gauge there. much more useful and its not even hooked up yet.

does it only do it when you're driving? perhaps over a certain x mph?? does your OBC have a light on? press the button that has the light on, its your MAX MPH button and will cause the 'dinger' to ding anytime you go over the set MPH. That is my only guess. :D
