I've been running my car fine without the t-body gasket....not a drip. No air in the cooling sys either. Maybe I'm lucky.

maybe your system isn't pressurized enough to cause a leak. wierd...

Id say T stat housing, the bleeder screw on mine was stuck and wasnt letting any air out, after I changed a hose.
Very easy fix....new t stat while your i nthere too...
