    Saturn Vue?

Anyone have any experience with these? My girlfriend is looking at a 2003 with 29,000miles going for $16,000. I personally think Saturns are junk, but does anyone have any good insight with these?

    Thanks, George

They're built like shit. I did an exterior detail job on one for $75, while I was scrubbing one of the headlights it popped out of place...

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

I believe (the newer models anyway) have a honda V6 under the hood, so thats a good thing at least.

Unless its got the Honda powertrain run for the hills. Saturns have been notorious for burning oil after only 4-5 years. Sadly only the brand new ones are getting the Honda powertrains.
            Im now E30less.

friends mom has one and she hasn't had any problems, but as stated by others don't expect it to last more than 5 yrs. The run alright on the highway with the 6cyl. thats all I know.

god damn saturns are pieces of shit. Tara owned one before her M42iS. God damn.

If she wants a car to get her from point a to point b that will eventually deteriorate (at probably twice the rate of a normal car) then go for it. Otherwise, run.

Yea, knowing and speaking from experience, they are shit. I have no idea what the Vues are like, but saturn itself.....sucks!

                        $16,000! Get an E30 M3!

The M3 wouldn't have dent resistant doors though.

Fuck that. I can fill up my fingers and toes with why that's a bad idea without even trying.
