Does he DD it? I heard it's not great for this but I DD an e30 for 2 years dailyso..... I got nothing against plastic, most new cars use
an absurd amount of it, even in high end cars.

My brother has a 94 wrangler and it rules. He does however drive it 5 miles a month..... so it runs just like it did when he bought it.

Auto? I wouldn't buy a Jeep for high performance driving but I do agree that the motor is definitely not on par with it's competition.
          Toyota echo huh?

            New Jeep

new jeep wrangler looks like a joke man. c'mon it's pretty much close to 100% plastic. not only that, it has those HUGE plastic fenders. I like the old school better.

The flares are just bigger now which imo looks better. I actually really like the new Jeeps, with a small lift kit and some nice tires, they look all business.

I hear you, I want a black Sahara 4 door, just going to lift it
2-3" and throw some wheels/tires on it.

Damith, almost 100% plastic? C'mon, be real, all new cars
including bmw's use an abundance of plastic in the interiors, I see nothing wrong with it.

The World War 2 jeep is still alive and well. I am afraid to think about how long the hummer will last.

It is not that bad. It was supposed to get the 3.7L from the liberty...

I am sad they killed the 4L i-6 but the v6 motor is not a minivan motor. It has a 6 speed manual!

I'd like to hear why the new Jeeps are death traps as well.

Ive had a wrangler on 2 wheels taking a corner on the highway that I can take at full speed in the e30. Granted, it had a mild lift kit and big tires, but it still scared the shit out of me.

Fuck Jeeps, I'll never even think about buying one again. I had a 2000 cherokee classic, and it was cool for a bit, but then I found out that there was a casting flaw in the cylinder head and Jeep had not recalled them or anything. I went snowboarding, and when I started it up the cylinder head cracked just from a cold start. I didn't know at the time, because it ran okay, but the check engine light instantly turned on. I found out when my coolant dissapeared, and then drained the oil to find a milky mess.

So i buy a used head and throw it on there (from a different casting). When I put the intake back on, I hear a pop and it wouldn't run right. I took it off and had broken one of the tabs that holds the manifold to head. I figured I had over torqued it somehow, so i go to buy a used one of those. But it, take it home and find out before I installed it that it was broken in the same place! when i went to exchange it, the guy tells me that the manifold has a casting flaw as well and that they always break there.

Wow, I went off topic, but that's why I won't but another one. That and I had to spend $900 on curing the "death wobble".

I did the same thing in my cherokee, but I think I only lifted one wheel.

I like my comanche because its not as top heavy as the cherokee for obvious reasons. And it was previous to the chrysler buyout. So its got the Renix engine management and the 4.0 HO engine.
If i didnt need the cash i wouldnt be selling it. I def wouldnt buy another jeep unless it was a manche
