Ive got a 01 GC, Ive had it since new and have put 180k miles on it with very few problems and am planning on replacing it with a late model, especially if I can get a life time warranty.

And to the people complaining about getting up on 2 wheels where the e30 was fine, wtf do you expect

Just did a 6" lift on one of these last month. It came straight from the dealer, almost no miles. And it was a Rubicon too. Friggin 2-piece front sway bar for the electronic disconnect. Actually a nice ride once I was done with it.

I would never buy a used rover, the electronics on those things are a nightmare.....If it wasnt for that issue, i would already own one.

Land Rover Defender is way different than other LR models. it has much more less electronics than other LR models such as discovery, LR2, or range rover

I hate the Fj cruiser, it's butt ugly and downright goofy looking.

6" lift huh? Thing must have been up there, the Jeep I posted was only a 4" lift, I'm going with mild 2"-3" most likely. How was the install?

The install was pretty simple, mainly all new control arms and springs, along with track bar mods. The alignment was a bit different as far as specs go. Normally they want around 7' of caster, the new JK's want about 5'. There are knockouts on the front diff brackets so you can get caster back in spec. Need any help, let me know. I do these things for a livin'.

crash tests are not complimentary. The v6 even mated to the 6psd is a dog, I can only imagine how the automatic would behave. At 60mph, I had to shift down to 4th to be able to accelerate. I hate to floor it in order to gain speed.

The old inline had less hp, but it had much better low-end torque, and the vehicle was much smaller

Really? The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave it 5 out 5 stars for frontal impact for both driver's side and passenger side.

Also gave it 4 out of 5 stars for roll over resistance and passed the dynamic test without tipping.

Anyway, people don't buy wranglers for speed, don't know why you keep
mentioning it? Btw, e30's and toyota echo's are not exactly quick either;)

Oh and another interesting thing is the echo seems to be more of a
                                "death" trap than a wrangler.

It got only 4 out 5 stars for the same criteria and got 4 out of 5 stars for
                                rollover.

It's common sense, what vehicle would you rather be in when a
huge SUV barrels into you because a soccor mom was talking on her cell phone?
