I am in no way saying that the eta was a bullet, but my eta (@ 186k miles) could do zero to 60 under 8. I wish I had some way of proving it, but I did time it several times.

12 seems very slow to me, but I could be crazy.

And yes JGood, I agree with you about the eta as a street car. The torque is great. I never had my eta over 110-115ish, but it didnt really have any trouble getting there.

You must have had lots of mods because stock bmw says it does an 8.2 i think and road and track test drive showed a 9.0

Just went out and did 2 more 0-60 runs and somehow managed to pull off a 12.00. It was 96 degrees F. I much more please with the 12 second 0-60 even though it is still very slow, im still wondering what other people a running with stock eta's.

What are you useing, a G-tek pro or what ever it's called. I can't remember the name???? And if so how do you like it?

im using the most precise method i could think of, a video camera viewing the tach and speedometer. after the videos are made i put them on my computer and by looking at the tach and speedo i can determine the exact start and stop of the run and use the time shown at the bottom of the media player, can also skip frame by frame which helps to be very precise.

He was saying that 9sec. 0-60 was good for a 20year old car. But when they was new they ran 9.4 0-60. Atleast they didn't get any slower!

Yes but I believe he was refering it to the time of 14 sec. 0-60..

9 seconds compared to 14 is a very BIG difference.. I dont think he meant it was fast compared to all other cars..

One was chipped with LSD, not sure of gearing...It was a tad better than the otehr stock one, but still much slower than my IS (when it was stock)...

Only things I like about an eta are thier cranks and rods, but thats only becasue they will go in an "i" engine.

Box at the bottom. The only way a 325e can keep up is with software AND a cam. Without it, not a chance.

What happened to the 30-50 and 50-70 top gear times with the 2.79 rear, cam, and chip? Gained 7 and 6 seconds over the same setup without the cam? haha what cam did they put in the damn thing, a 302?

it was actually during a tornado................i recorded the drive, then took it on the computer and timed it. 9 seconds flat.
