If you're REALLY going for safety, just sell the E30 and buy a 2005 Hyundai with 14 airbags. Seriously, any car made in the last 10 years will probably be alot safer than an E30 in a bad wreck.

Alright, time to steal a Blunt-ism,

Hey, Douchenozzle, read above befor telling me to buy a Hyundai.

I would agree that I would do more damage hitting my head against the roll cage in my race car with no helmet than not having a roll cage at all. Wear a seat belt would be my best advice, if you want to add safety you can install a harness bar which fits between the B pillars and allows you to properly install a 4,5,or 6 point harness. Just my 2 cents.

And with that, we've gone off the tracks like I thought we would,

so, Rigmaster, eat a 100,000 mile warranty dick...

NEVER install a harness in a car without a full 4 point roll bar, at the minimum. You roll, the roof collapses, and you are stuck upright. Not a good scenario. This is a fact, not my opinion. Please don't do this.

Harnesses are designed to keep you upright and in the exact position you started in. Not what you want without roll protection.

The stock belt is fairly safe. If you don't have an airbag car, it was not meant to stretch much so you won't go very far under *most* front impacts if you are wearing it properly. airbag belts are made to stretch a little more - which is why you shouldn't disconnect airbags if you have them from the factory.

          IMO:

You drive on the street - you use street equipment

You drive on the track - you use track equipment

Only exception being if you auto-x, a harness bar and harnesses can be used to help keep you still, while keeping weight down, as long as you aren't using them to drive to and from the event.

That should keep you as safe as possible at all times.

Dude, you're an idiot. What conflicting info did you get from me??

I read Racingwoody's post and I disagree with it. JGood stated it with 100% accuracy as far as I'm concerned. You asked for ideas and opinions, then you start with the shit slinging when you don't hear what you want to hear. Go buy a fucking new Hyundai and I'll ship you a ricer wing to get you started.

I gave honest info to your question, but you just can't get over the fact that I've called you on a few of your BS posts and the fact that you can't even correctly spell the name of the town where you (allegedly) live.

Mods, please change this nutlicker's name to Bluntwannabe, cause it seems that's what he's trying to do (and failing miserably I might add).

BTW, I believe the REAL Blunt has a copyright on "douchenozzle", so don't be surprised if a 4 lb ball of furry fury named Biscus shows up on your doorstep after driving all night wearing a doggy diaper and a cute little party hat, ready to chomp your ballsack into oblivion.
