im pretty sure the guys at IE have better things to worry about that what one or two people on r3v are complaining about. they dont have a dedicated person to sales, and they are back in their shop most of the time working on their own projects or customers cars.....

its just a proven fact that if you go with IE expect headaches but in the end they get the job done. I waited almost 3 weeks for a flywheel from them......

Won't do any good, they know when they are sucking badly, they probably just lost some underpaid person who was busting his ass again. They ( IE ) go in cycles like this. I've been the recipient of both treatments from them, urethane engine mounts that took 3 months with no email response the first two tries and a shortened driveshaft for the 5 speed swap in my deuce in 3 days.

Agreed. It took them ~2 weeks to ship me a set of swaybars (that they claimed they had in stock). I made it clear that I wanted the bars prior to a specific track weekend that was over a week away...I didn't get them in time. When they finally arrived, one of the bolts was missing. That was a nice touch!

They were useless on the phone before, during, and after the sale. Some of the very worst service I've ever experienced from any vendor. Bad enough that it makes me think twice before I'd ever do business with them again.

That's no way to run a business. The guys at Turner Motorsports and Bimmerworld are also racers (and pretty damned successful racers at that). Yet, they still manage to offer great customer support for their on-line parts sales. Don't get into the parts vendor business if you can't manage the basics of managing inventory, processing orders, answering phones, etc.

1st and last time was with my plug wires. pic is of red, came in blue. I agree, if you want customers, you need to do them right. There are way too many good companies that are willing to try.
them being racers is a bunch of BS!!!!!!!!! their parts are supposed to support their racing, no parts sold=no racing.

Good point, everyone keeps talking about their racing taking up time, but you're right on that Turner spends "a little" time doing it too.

Sadly, no matter how much you are right or how many of us agree with you, it would take a total boycott for them to MAYBE change.

I'm sure they have seen what is written about them, and it's always the same old story - sort of think they could care less either way at this point.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.
