    Widebody options.

Any one look into or know of any places for wider fender. I know that you can use the M3 fenders but I was thinking something a tad bit wider. I would like to fit 285/30-18 tires in the rear with true coilovers(not sure on a front tire size maybe 245/35-18) so this should give you a reference on width.

So far my options seem like:
    a) M3 or M3 evoIII fenders stock or in FG. I think the evo fenders are a little wider and have bigger cut out then stock. I think these might be a little too narrow.
    b) apex engineering fenders. Fiberglass m3 style fenders just an inch wider. Anyone use them?
    c) korman fenders. I know nothing about them and noone seems to have any info. Anyone?
    d) I could get custom benders made I suppose but why reinvent the wheel. Any help and opinions would be appreciated.

I would love soemthing like this but i cant find anyone at this shop that speaks english.

    ^^^^That thing is the biz-ness^^^^

What I'm trying to figure out is if it a highly modded M3 with late model tails tacked on or is it a late model standard E30 with lots of M3 body parts? Either way, the end result is bad ass.

Grab some fenders off of a wrecked M3 and then cut them and weld them up and throw them on.

IE and BMP make fender flares. OR attempt to replicate alex's beefy flares:

Those fender flares that BMP makes are nasty, tho. They're made to be riveted directly to the body and left exposed, just for race applications. You could probably blend them in, but it would take tons of work, since they're not made for it.

The BMP flairs are a no go. They are just ugly.

I kind of like the "M3 flare with the lips"... opinions on those? If this thred doesnt turn up a reasonable alternative thats is what I am eventually "ganan" make.

haha on the "ganan." alex's flares were full custom, done by a shop. I believe he's got full documentation on his website

Check out the CF? fenders from apex engineering. They are a little pricy but they're sooo sick. They are 1" wider per corner than stock M3 fenders. 305s in rear?
