I've heard that Wurth discontinued the gold paint.

Here is what you want. I believe that Wurth is a OEM supplier for paint to BMW. It's tuff high quality stuff.

I found Buckskin at the auto parts store. It looks like a light tan/beige color on the bottle cap, crazy that it comes out such a nice gold/bronze color.

My only objection to gold spray paint is that it looks horrible after a few months.

just put a good coat of clear on it and once it's cured, a coat of wax. it'll hold up fine.
