Congrats Kellie, very cool and something to be very proud of. I look forward to meeting you and Ben at some point in the future when you guys help me swap plastic bumpers onto my cab. Err, I mean at a meet or something. :D

Haha, thanks, Tim.
I just did my plastic bumper swap. It's pretty easy, and I might maybe, possibly be willing to help. ;) I do accept bribes.
Did you ever feel after you graduated step that you were really ready to start working on the cars? I just graduated 2 weeks ago and start next monday but truthfully im pretty nervous. I worked flat rate for a year at a general shop and did very well, but these cars are a whole new ballgame.
Yeah, but we have '88s :D. '87 = Not so fun & easy.
Congrats!! That's very impresive. Ben must be so proud.
I saw your IX at fusion last week. I'm make sure to say hi next time you come out. Maybe you should drag Ben out too. I never see him at the meets.
Oops, I didn't look at the year of his car. I have no idea how to do the swap on an '87, but I could learn. :)
I didn't mingle much at Fusion, since I don't really know anyone. I don't even know if I saw your car. Next time you see me there, definitely say hi. I'll try to get Ben to come along too, but like he said, his job keeps him out late a lot of the time. Jobs are so overrated.

I know exactly how you feel! I was so nervous to start work, I felt totally unprepared and had no idea what to expect, but you know what? I really surprised myself. You won't believe how quickly you pick everything up. You have a huge advantage over most starting technicians, and I bet by the end of your second week, you will feel perfectly comfortable.
I won't tell you not to worry, because I know you will anyway, but you'll see what I mean once you start. Many of the techs at your dealership will have gone through exactly what you went through, so they can relate. You'll be fine!
Props to you Kellie , thats some accomplishment .
Also props for putting up with Bens shenanigans .
Thank you, and thank you...although it's the other way around. He's the one who puts up with my shenanigans. Although my shenanigans are cheeky and fun, which makes them not really shenanigans at all...

I didn't have my e30, I was in the silver Audi S4 that got the flat as I rolled in. Fucking bent one of my SSR GT3's, and now it won't air up. Stupid soft ass SSR's. And my e30 is rolling on stock basket weaves since I sold the RS's.
I don't think I saw the Audi, but I too have bent an SSR. It was one of my GT2s and I went through hell trying to get it repaired properly. I ended up LUCKILY finding the very last new gold 17" 5x100 SSR GT2 in the country, so now if I bend one, I'm SOL. PM Kim (94is), she knows a good wheel repair guy.
Sound like Ben is a popular guy. Everyone wants him to shoot their cars!
