If you care nothing about the motor then drive, know full well that every one now thinks your a `tard for even considering it. Why can`t you just bucket wash if it`s that dirty?

I drove for a couple months with what I thought was just a vacuum leak or something. After the repair, bitch is still running great...

actually, if he were to remove the valve cover and rid the head of any remaining pieces of metal/rocker he could technically drive it. running on 5 cylinders, but still driveable.

you all post like you alll are the everknowing gods, but to drive it across the parking lot isnt going to hurt it(as long as the broken piece isnt jammed in the cam lobe area.)

I have driven plenty of m20s with broken rocker arms-- even one from Amsterdam to southern Germany -about a 7 hour drive.

A few years ago i drove my 320 wagon for months with a broken rocker- yes i was too lazy to fix it, and the people love the sound of the fart out of the intake when it backfires.

please explain to me how it would hurt anything.

its only safe to drive it if you drain all the oil first, then fill your crank case with sand.

Yea, I put about 65 miles on mine with the rocker debris pulled out, the fuel injector killed & the plugwire off. It's really not going to do anything that awful.

haha i just found this. the thing hasn't moved since May. i did go out and had to charge the battery back up, there must be a small drain somewhere because it took awhile. so thar it sits cost me $180 in insurance just to sit there, oh well. i think i'll fix the rocker this weekend, maybe not. we'll see.

FWIW I drove Jordan's car with a broken rocker for almost a year. :)
