Sucks that you had to see it go, but you did get a good run out of it. What are your e30 plans now? I can see you have a cabby in your sig.

Ive had a lowered 318is for going on 4 years now and have yet to smack the pan even a little. What ended up killing the thing?

Had mine slammed for 2 years and never had an issue as well.
Sad to see it go, looked good w/ the kopi's on it w/ the stance.

Ive got a 318is, and the cabrio. I picked up a identical DS 91 318i a few months ago for my Girlfriend.
Its weird to see another stock 318i, makes me nastalgic almost.
I plan on a M50 swap for the cabrio and to restore the 318is to stock running condition for a DD

I think the BAV-Auto springs are a bit lower than most 318 springs. That or they lived up to their reputation and sagged like a bitchwhore

Cool chronological thread, your car definitely went through some shite.

FWIW, I noticed the toenails too but someone beat me to it. :D

Yea, i wish it didnt have to end with it in 2 pieces but its all good. Looking foward to getting the 318is up and running. It will be a better investment in the long run.

no not really. The lack of the rear bumper screams "down and out" :pask Gary(toplessE30).

But seriously, i have been busy with work. Putting up with peoples BS so i can pay the bills and barely have enough for my many projects. I need to go to school:(

I remember you did have a lot of trouble keeping that thing on the road. I would have been done after the whole shock tower mess. Glad to see you are joining the darkside with the rest of the 24V club. ;)
