    m20 Turbo Project

    Hey Guys,

I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been looking for a home to share e30 info. You guys look like a cool bunch. I like the heavy NE presence and I notice there are several turbo cars and some really cool n/a cars.

I have owned two other e30s but this is my first one in about 5 years. I am excited to install a turbo on this car. I also drive a e28 535i turbo but the e30 feels like a go-kart compared to the e30.

Anyway, look forward to an exchange of ideas.

    Thanks,
    Todd

        Welcome Todd!
Your e28 is amazing. My dad had one very similar to that, minus the turbo.
Any interest in an E28 M5 with full fiberglass euro body kit? :D

Welcome to the site, its a good bunch of people, with a large amount of knowledge to share

Welcome man!! Nice e28 you have there!!

What are your plans for your m20 further than the turbo, I mean, what you want to use, what turbo, intercooler or not, fuel systems, anyway, I think you want to build your own custom turbo project right?

Thanks for the comments guys. The 535i is still non intercooled. I expect 400rwhp when we are finished in a few months. The 325i is getting similar treatment. We are first developing a non intercooled kit and then an intercooled kit. Both kits will use a water/air intercooler. The 325i will be using a cast iron manifold, T04B turbo, Tial wastegate, 3" mandrel bent exhaust, and all the necessary accesories.

The 535i sees 15psi non intercooled and 20psi intercooled (before removing the intercooler). My goals for the 325i are 10psi non intercooled and 15psi intercooled. I'll be receiving the m20 manifolds next week so we'll get started soon.
