    From Bentley 11:11: "If the two sections are pulled apart without the driveshaft being marked, reassemble the splined coupling so that the universal joints are on the same plane as shown in Fig. 4-7. There is still the possibility of the driveshaft being reassembled wrong by 180 degrees and causing vibration. In this case remove the driveshaft, separate the two sections at the splined coupling, turn one section 180 degrees, and reassemble."

    I just happened to read this today.
    Fig. 4-7 shows a drawing of the driveshaft with both u-joints aligned facing the same direction, if that makes sense.

      Wow thanks a lot. That just saved me. Sounds a little confusing, but I think I understand it.

        I found the white dots on the drive shaft to line it up also. I want to make sure I pressed my csb on the right way though. Is the rubber lip that overhangs the bearing on one side supposed to face the spline or the u-joint?
