    Feeler: rims for my 2002

    hey, found these on the net... and was thinking of pimping my ride out to the extreme with this wheel upgrade from steelies to the same size...but in fancy rims!

    pretty sweet eh?

        I'm pretty sure he'll give them to me for $100...deal? I thot so. Definately a sweet upgrade from steelies... and besides, he lives down my street!

          Those are cool wheels. I believe the factory offered a 14" version of that style for the E21 cars didn't they?

          Another '02 wheel suggestion would be some Minilites. Those are classics.

              No, they were 13" for the E21s. They made a few 15" ones, but they're VERY rare.

                    Be warned that the offset isn't quite right for a 2002. They will work, but you will have some rubbing on the fenders depending upon your suspension and the tire. I have those same wheels on one of my 02s with ST springs, 185s, and I get a little rubbing, but only over more severe bumps. IMHO, basketweaves are a better way to go because the offset is correct (versus a 320i wheel). That is, unless you plan on keeping the 175s...

                        Those must be the ones I'm thinking of. Rare indeed! I've only seen pics of those.
