    Need Help Buying E30

    Hey i wanted to buy and 1988 325is with 150,xxx for 3200. J/W what are some common maintenance problems are and if 150,xxx is worth buying?

    More details? exterior/interior condition, etc... What do you plan on using the car for? If you don't want any rust, check the front rockers, license plate light area, under the battery - those are common areas.

      There are guys that race SpecE30 with +150k miles on thier race engines. Make sure the timing belt has been changed within 60k miles, see if it leaks any fluids.

        Hey thanks guys for the response I checked it out yesterday. The interior is in fair condition. I'm just using the car for daily driving. Its a California car so i doubt there is any rust. The guy told me i might have to replace the timing belt soon. everything else has been replaced.
