Well it's and end to an era... YES, the hoegaarden is officially gone...last week we had a really nice 85 degree day and I decided to pull the car out to "undrees her"... I have had the stickers on the car for at least 2 years and thought they would be a bitch to remove... they came off with ease.. with the warm weather i simply used my thumb nail to start the sticker and most of them pulled off in 1 piece...The gold "hood emblem game me some problems but really nothing but breaking into smaller pieces(possibly the engine heat)... it was crazy...There was no residue left on the car... You could barely see where the stickers were right off the bat...You would have to look to see any marks...I had kept the car in the garage and waxed all the time..after a wash and wax you couldn't tell at all... I did leave the hoegaarden "roundels" just for fun, and so some people in the area could tell it was my car... I will post some better pics... my camera ran out of batteries..
The past few years has been really fun, especially driving around the city the way it looked... the looks on people's faces while driving through down town seattle were all accross the board...I would mostly see the "WTF" look sooo many times also I would get a bunch of thumbs up ... the best part of having the stickers on the car were the kids faces...They would get so excited and point all the time... the best were the kids in the back seats of cars, faces all squished up against the glass.
Well cheers to and end of an era, but to the start of a new adventure.. Tony
