look what i made (dont laugh)

I got sick of using a hammer and taking off 2 of the water pump pulley bolts because the wrench was too thick. So i used the dremel on my 32mm combo wrench and ground it in half so it fits between the fan clutch, and fabricated this, aint she a beaut? Too me about 1 hour to grind down the wrench and make this bad boy.

i like your enginuity, i had a simular problem so i just worked around the fan and then took out the whole waterpump and then removed the clutch in a vise :-)

hahah nice, i could never get those bolts out without removing the fan, ive tried all sorts of ghetto rigging over the years, jamming a screwdriver in between the pulleys, using a leather belt, hammer, sawzall, brute force.
FINALLY i can take it off in less than 5 seconds.
Ive found a way to take the starter off in a minute as well, i just need to find the most efficient way to remove the transmission however...thats another story.

You're aware that tool has been made already, right?

Yes sir, but since i dont have lots of money to spend i had to do something about taking my fan clutch off, the alternator belt snapped and i had no choice but to make something, my neighbor has a welder so he just tacked in three spots and its super strong. I just drilled the holes and then rat tail filed the holes to accommodate the bolts. Then i cut the little u shape in the metal with the dremel cutoff wheel, it ate through the metal pretty quick but used one little disc. The wrench was a big PITA, my arm was still vibrating after i was done haha I actually saw the tool they made and just duplicated it :) But yeah it took an hour of making the holes and grinding the wrench.

I put the socket on my air wrench, stuck it to the nuts and went "reeep-reeeep-reeeep-reeeep".

I think when I get home I'm going to try and make something round & black out of rubber, make it fit on a wheel, and figure out a way to give it traction......if only someone had already invented something like this my life would be so much easier.

                        Anybody want to help?

Sorry man, but I had to. I'm a horrible person.
