PBR Metal Masters are about the least grippy pad available. Deluxes are better but still don't have much stopping power. I tested both on my Golf GTi autocross/track/canyon car and they were the worst pads i've ever tried. They were also worse than all the pads tested in European Car's Big Brake Pad Test article some years ago.

Damn, I'm really irritated about the PBR Metal Masters. They used to be held in a high esteem a couple years back. I've used a set on my stock brakes years back and was happy. IE included PBR pads for my BBK, but if they've gone down the tubes, then i'll replace them before I install the BBK.
OK, I want the best pads available for aggressive street use and a decent amount of track usage. Lowest dust, lowest squeel, highest grip, lowest fade. What can you guys tell me.
Pagid Sports? Mintex which kind, EBC what...etc..help me out.
EDIT: While you guys are at it, what fluid to go with? I was planning on ATE Super Blue, but if I'm better off with something else I'd like to know.
