        nah it just clips on top of it.
        i wasn't sure how it mounted before i bought it
        but it came w/ mounting instructions, and it only took
        like 15 mins to put in.

          aww man thats not cool. BTW I just check the price on Tisher BMW and it came out to $160. I remember that was the going rate. You must've gotten a hookup or something!

            That's what I thought, also. I bought one off ebay.de and it came with the shelf, and the sunshade fits inside it.

            would you be able to scan the instructions and e-mail me, pretty pls? Or if you can tell me where the mounting holes are, above the rear windshield, for the brackets? TIA!

                anyone ever hear of a expansion gas tank? I know the alpina e30s had them.

                      long range tank in the boot? Almost standard on south African assembled e30s

                          all M3s came with the long range tank. the expansion piece is on all tanks though, it is a plastic thing right by the filler tube in the wheel well.

                              yep, i think early m10s even had a light on the dash that goes on at like 2k miles for some sensor needing replacing

                                ya if anybody has every learned to fix one of these please contact me. It lights ups when you first turn on the car but unlrelative to when i put on my seatbelt or not
