They aren't seen much in the US due to the 316 being a Euro car. I think it adds a nice finished look to the trunk compartment. Now the hunt for a 316 in in the junk yards of California begins...;)

good luck jim, they really do make the trunk look alot better hope you can find one, this one on my car is from the UK, its probably the only one in Australia lol

Wow finding M10 twin cam Schnitzer head is rare as fuck. Finding two is even hard but to find two pre-machined castings is just fucking nuts how much for them if I may ask?

? you over pay or something? And while you're in your trunk. Go get another trunk light out of a parts car and wire it into your trunk so you can have the dual lights under there! It's a nice litte mod to brighten up the trunk.

funny you suggest it, the one trunk light that i have does not work and i have been thinking about fixing it as well as a second, are there any DIY's for this because i have no idea where to start

Cool piece, I've never seen one of those. It looks like the E28 interior. What's it supposed to do, just look cool? You would lose functionality of the little slot behind the ashtray where you can put all kind of random stuff. Any pics of it installed?

its actually working AC vents on the e30s that didnot come with AC from factory. its all in the my trip to lebanon thread.
