Easy way to do it would be, 5 Lug conversion using E36 parts, then run E34 offset wheels, piece of cake.
You will need to mod the body inside the front wheel well, or you will have serious body rubbing issues.

    All good fun though.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but your putting all this work into the widebody, don't skimp on how it roles down the road. If I were you I'd try running e36 front struts, and z3 rear t-arms. The z3 rear t-arms are suposed to push the wheels out alittle wider than the standared e30 stuff, probally look pretty good on a widebody. The e36 swap can be done for pretty cheep, I got the entire front suspension and steering rack off a an e36 for $150, not sure of the cost of the z3 rear t-arms ect, but they are pretty common so it shouldn't be too bad.

The e34 offset is a good place to start, but I'm not sure if it will be enough to push the wheels out far enough. Here is a pic of my e36 front suspension and the spare tire from my e34

i know..thats why I'm saying that the e34 offset of et 20 won't be enough. That is the spare off my e34 so I don't know what the offset on it is.....

Ok, I found some wheels that are 4 lug and are wide enough for me. Let me know what you think. They are a little more expensive, but no more than it would cost to do a 5 lug conversion and some wheels to go with it.

These are 16inch wheels. Which I like. But I think the middle ones are my favorite cause they are 17x10 with a 15 offsett

The deep dish style on the second it's very nice...but the style of the wheel not much.

I keep for the first ones also the third one.

Look in Azev wheels. Just keep looking for 4 lug rims in Germany webs.

I think those second wheels would look sweet if I painted the centers black or gunmetal, and leave the polished lip. And they are the most affordable.

If you can swing making the bolt pattern 5x120 I have a set of BBS rims meant for widebody cars. The wheels are 17x9 all around with an offset of ET10. They are in perfect condition. Depending upon what sort of money you want to spend...they are going to be a lot cheaper than HRE or iF or other similar brands.

                      some how I don't think a stock e34 15x7" et25 wheel is what I was implying 17x9" et10 maybe!!

Now those puppies are what I'm talkin' 'bout!!!
Do you mind telling us how much they are going for???
It would almost be worth doing a wide body just to use them!!!

Those BBS rims are very nice. Where did you pick them up at? They definately look like a race car rim something from one of the GT classes

i think that looks sweet man. what is the total parts outlay, do you have specifics on the parts? I like the way it looks but I imagine it might look and turn a bit nicer if the wheel had about a 10mm more positive offset, then you could really tuck it. Nice work.

The BBS rims were gotten from Team PTG :)

They ordered some bolts from BBS, misplaced a number in the order, and ended up with these. A friend of mine in Atlanta buys some stuff from them from time to time and picked them up. I then traded various bits to get them from him. They are currently my end tables in my bedroom. :)

I'll looking for around $1300 (shipped in the US and CA, elsewhere is negotiable). This is a litle less than some of the better BBS race rims. Each rim is 21lbs. I'm willing to negotiate on the price though (as they aren't a wheels BBS makes anymore or even ever sold in the US, though BMW had a stock rim similar...but a busier center area and no BBS tagging).

Those BBS's are very cool. But not what Im looking for. I think I may have decided on these. Brock B1's 17x10's and 17x 8.5's

Brock B1's will look absolutely stupid on a widebody track car.

BBS LM/CH styles, or basketweave styles are called for.
