the Macao looks nothing like that when it is a few years old. It also came on some later euro verts. we had one at my work with an all leather(doorpanels, centercoun., dash, and the seats had a funky bead style in the mittle section)
but agreed, macao looks incredible when it is taken care of. when not, it looks like a crappy grey- kinda like DS.

I would do Avus Blue or Carbon Black if I was going to repaint a car right now. Carbon Black looks sweet on the E46 M3. It looks black until light hits it.

A couple pics borrowed from my favorite detailing site, autopia.org.

Nice guys, keep 'em coming. And that ^ is carbon schwarz metallic? I do like that. I was trying to stay away from black though... hmm. I need to find more pictures of it.

It's not black, it is dark blue. Only looks black in the absence of light, i.e. night time. :D Search bf.c for carbon black in the E46 section and you'll have a grip of hits.

And here is an e30 in estoril:

My car is significantly different though. Mine will have contrast with black window, door, and bumper trim, euro plate filler, semi dark tint and a mtechI spoiler eventually. I've also got iS skirts and front lip with a splitter. It's also a late model.

And it's dropped pretty low with H&R and Bilstein sports and hyperblack kopi's.

Imola is a very nice color, but I think if I were to do a red color, It'd be zinno.

Jesus that guy did a nice detail job. I just figured that the color was black because it has schwarz in the name, and that is black.

Too bad it's not a more common color, I'd like to see it in person.

Carbon black is looking very nice from what I see. I like it better than Diamantschwarz.

I also see a matte black BMW color. Anyone know what cars it came on? The code is: 121 Mattschwartz Black Matte Standard Black.

I've toyed with the idea of a matte black.

                        I vote for Estoril.
                        I always liked that color.

BMW has some of the most amazing blue/purple colors out there. But I agree estoril ftw!

                            Do it. Estoril.

I would if I were to do a paint job with as much effort into a paint job as you have already.

The Estoril that takes the cake is Mike's friend with his M3:

Definitely one the top 5 best E30 M3's in my book...what color centers are those? Gold? They look like a pale-ish gold?
