    Oil light comes on

I noticed my Oil indicator light comes on if I am in a constant radius right hand turn for a couple of seconds (2-3). The oil level is fine, so is this an indication of oil starvation due to the design of the oil pan or oil pump possibly going bad ? (I've taken one apart so I don't know if they can "start to fail" and not just fail completely as they aren't electrical and driven by the chain anyway).

The oil light comes on and then off whenever I start the car , although this morning it stayed lit for a little longer than usual after the car started up.

      No such thing on M10s

Thats actually an inherent problem with the M10s, the oil pickup is offset and will starve the car if you make long right hand turns. I killed a weak m10 on a cloverleaf because of this.

Look around, i think they make a baffle you can bolt or weld into the pan.

try ireland engineering. You need a baffle - and a scraper wont hurt either.
