Probably just a loose connection on the left one.

This is what it looks like with the cover - crappy picture, but you get the idea. I may add a light or two under the rear deck, though, just to fully illuminate everything.

really? wtf? I hardly even go in my trunk, even less so at night. What do you guys have in your trunks? (hmm, sounds like a good thread)

I think that thread has already been started.

Anyway, where does one acquire a trunk cover?
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Did this come stock at ANY e30's?

Thnx for the info. Might consider it, not my first priority. Kinda like the bare bone look in the trunk.

Don't know that it came stock, but I'm sure it was an option that could be checked off on the order form. Most of the applications for this are Euro, though, so it may well have been stock on some cars over there.

Are you talking about the "large" tool kit?
I've looked on Realoem and at the Dealer (US or Euro) and I haven't been able to find a part number for trunk lid trim panel that has the factory cutout for the "large" tool kit. Any ideas?

I just watched this auction go on ebay.. It was news to me that the big toolbox was even a factory option in the US.

Wait... This takes this thread way off topic doesn't it..
