    February 04' - 1988 325 - 212,000mi - brand new timing belt - $2,000. Wasn't worth that much, but I wanted it bad so I just ate the cost.

    It needed:
    New Clutch
    Shocks were pretty toast
Interior was pretty ragged - ripped seats
Hood was faded and trunk was havin issues too

^ that's why it wasn't worth $2,000. But, a car is worth what someone pays for it. :)

Since then...I've put well over $10k into my car. probably more. lol

Ohh, I bought my car from Kris Olson, bimmerphile. The OG's would remember him.

1986 325es 5 speed all original everything. Had tons of maintenance but not nearly enough from what it needed. Have put at least 3 times its book worth into it after its said and done and purchased. Had MINT tan sport interior though. First one I looked at. Didnt even want an E30 at the time. Now I'm hooked.

Paid $2150. From a local Old Hickory Chapter CCA member.

Purchased March 2004 - $3001, 134,000 on the clock, bone stock 1991 318iS, absolute mint interior, plus a crack free dash. Folder full of maintenance history.

Put ~6k in modifications and maintenance.

Currently at 193K on the clock, never been running better. Dash is still crack free. Only wear on the interior is the driver seat bolster is starting to crack. Also needs new floormats.

Bought mine new in 1992. I seem to remember paying around 25 grand for it ... but I don't remember the exact figure. It was a long time ago!

                              Free. :) July/August 2007

Just needed me to get the old gas out, and put new gas in. Started right up.

New tires, new snow tires, never used bottlecap spare with original tire.

I've put money into modifications. Like a drivers seat with no tears/exposed metal frame. haha
