BMA is cheap: $22/R & $19F. The best part is they offer another 5% off for r3v members and free shipping over $50. This is huge in light (no pun) of ho heavy rotors are ;)

If Fap charges for shipping, you should crunch the numbers and support a r3v sponsor if the difference is negligible.

I honestly would feel bad taking BMA up on the free shipping deal for a set of rotors. They're making so little profit at those prices, and rotors are so heavy, that I'm sure they'd be losing money on the deal.

I like them too much to want to cost them money.

I doubt they're losing money. They make it up on other stuff.

I gotta think they know full-well what they're doing.

I use BMA sometimes. Fap99 does charge shipping, and there is a breakeven point on that compared to BMA with the discount.

Tim at fap99 has really come through for me in a pinch a couple of times, so I tend to go with him over BMA. No knock on BMA, though.

IIRC, the guys at BMA told me they bought these rotors in bulk. They are probably marked up 100%, at least. They have to make a decent profit on these to warrant the inventory and shelf space that could otherwise be occupied by products with higher profit margins. I like BMA, too, and admire them for not charging more for the rotors. As for shipping, they must have a deal with their carrier or use the cost as a tax break or something. Maybe.
