Any pointers on getting the parts back into the US? I was thinking of calling the airline first and possibly customs to make sure I follow procedures. It appeas the most experienced person with regards to bring stuff in from Europe is too busy attacking me to give me real advise so I'm not to sure what else I should do.

Shipping will quickly kill the sweetness on that deal...

Hey guys. I'm leaving tomorrow and what I got from everybody is that if I do decide to waste a few hours while I'm there, that I should only really go for small parts.

I'll prob just look for late model bumper strips, a check panel if I can get it in Portuguese (That would look pretty cool), maybe some smoked Hella's if I can find the real ones and maybe smoked taillights.

Let me know if you guys can think of anything else if you haven't already had some input.

I'm avoiding anything over 40 pounds because max luggage is 50lbs. If I do find something big, I and at a really good price I might just pick it up and see about having my family ship it over at a later date.

Since you're offering... get me one of these (preferably an original Alpina).... I'll give you $$ for it...

And if you find two, I'd take a spare.... $$$

LOL, dude, that thing is awesome. I'll keep my eye open for one but to be honest, I can't see one of these being found at a junk yard. I'm sure anything like that was prob parted out before it ever got to the yard.

          Keep um coming.

Seeing this is reminding me that when I was at a local junkyard, the e30 i found had one of those intergrated radar detectors.
