    dont mind the face...lol

What is that coating? Paint or powdercoat?

You mind listing your components? I think I see Vorshlag adj. perches, - what else is there?

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

Is there a consensus on the "best" coilover for racing apps? I'm going to ignore Motons, since they are 6k or more. Are they really all that?

I just installed my c3motorsport coilovers which required modifying the stock strut housings...I didn't powdercoat, but that really isn't a big deal to me since dirt and grime are an inevitability, especially here in the pacific northwest. Of course, I'm running Konig Remembers, so you would never see them through those little basket weaves. Anyway, it's a very affordable kit, with high quality components, and I'm very happy with how the car handles (spring rates are 450/750, with stock sways). It's actually tolerable to drive on the street, too. I believe Jason (slyder) is setting up a new kit with true rear coilovers, and will likely get a group buy going on the forums when it is ready. It's still in the initial stages of development as far as I know, but you might want to consider it as an option nonetheless. I'll try to post a picture of the modified struts when I get a chance.

Dirt and grime isnt as big of a deal as rust on exposed metal.

But where is the bump stop? gc aren't that bad in price considering you get the camber kit and rear shock mounts. i've just never really ben a big fan of koni. would love to drive someones gc e30 to compare to billy sports and h&r race springs.
The setup Cary is holding in that pic is not the GC kit. That is the C3 Motorsport coilover kit.
I'm running the same kit on my car.

i washed, sanded, primed, and then painted with wheel paint.

i AM running GC's sleeves/adjusters, in that pic i was running 500lb front 6" springs, and shortbody Konis w/spacer ON TOP of the strut. the camber plate is the Vorschlag unit. i forgot to throw on my bump stops, but it doesnt matter, as it is impossible for the strut to bottom out the way its mounted... i started with the full GC kit, but then slowly replaced shotty GC parts with parts from C3motorsports kit, the only parts i have left from my GC kit are the sleeves/adjusters.

what is the advantage of a short bodied koni? where can I get them? I am running bilstein sports cause its what i had from my previous set up, and its a little bouncy with 550f/650r GCs

*edit- still would like to know.....

Is there any particular reason that you're running such stiff fronts and soft rears?
