    Is it that impossible to upgrade the fasteners to something like square drive, Torx, or hex socket screws & either double nut or like suggested, a light tac with a welder. Even pop rivots sound like a good solution, and I hate pop rivots.

    I've never done a IS lip, so I don't know how the clips work - just throwing out some ideas in case using a little extra hardware would cure the problem.

    I had a 318is guy living down my street that looked a bit shady.. every time i left for more than 1 day i took the lip in :-).. Maybe you will find it again? Best of luck

    If it did in fact get jacked then its highly unlikely that they would be trying to sell it .
    Most likely on their late model right now .
    Thats the down side, well one of many at least, of living in the heavily e30 populated PNW .
