Looks awesome
When i go back to Indiana next summer i plan on doing something like what you've got, maybe not so much power tho cuz it would still be a DD.
Very Nice I want A Copy of your Engine mounts. I'm starting to gather parts for my m30 swap and will be going to the junkyard this week sometime to grab more parts.
Any one else interested in mounts, He said there for the older stlye M30 if you interested I'm going to gather emails as the more interested the cheaper they'll be.
And you know the welds and bends are going to pass TUV :!: Nothing against bmw335ist but I know these welds are upto the demanding standards of the German gov't.
Ya but I think $250 is to much to pay for Engine mounts considering I am going to pay $300ish for the m30 engine, tranny and all other parts at the junkyard.
Just to calm every one’s tempers the mounts that are in my car have been made by a machinist in his spare time he also makes parts for Boeing and freight liner as a sub contractor. here is a pic I pressure washed the primer off.
The The motor mounts from Germany unless you plan on putting the turbo on top of the motor witch I am not, the passenger side motor mount will hit the turbo, so I am making a different motor mount that later down the road if you just want to buy a turbo kit, you can bolt on the TCD kit. (Turbo charging dynamics)
their air/water cooler sits on top of the valve cover on spacers.
Damn it and I left the pic in Portland. I have about 50 pictures of my motor being striped down and rebuilt. and the car with no trim or bumpers and a clean ass engine compartment. I just picked up my drive line from the shop completely rebuilt and balanced from drive line specialties in Portland they had to weld A 5 series flange on the motor side of the drive line and shorten it. I do not have the measurements in front of me but will post them latter.
