its coo... but track cars and daily drivers NA owns.. unless the car is boosted stock it will get really really hot with more than 15 min on the track.... and daily driving will wear everything out, and gas... dont even want to talk about it

how much does the m20 weigh compared to the m30?

Not sure on the weight I do not have A/C and all the plumbing or power steering and all the plumbing. The last rally I went on for dtmpower if the guy wasn’t the leader I would have killed his car (1997 m3 chip air intake and exhaust) in both handling and acceleration so I would say the car doesn’t do to bad, and I am not trying to say it’s the fastest car ether

Your turbo is going to limit you to about 330rwhp. Beyond that you'll need to upgrade. You know who to call. Good luck and keep me updated on your progress.

Are you using an older version m30 or the newer version?
Did you use an e30 m3 oil cooler?

Count me in for the mounts too, I hope they are for the newer version.

his is the older version that was in the e28, the newer version in the e32/e34 didn't have those support braces connecting the intake plenum to the valve cover

Talk to George Graves, He is going to use the newer m30 in his swap so he could maybe get you a copy of his mounts.

on a side note: today I picked up my e28 radiator for $50 and all the stuff to relocate my battery to the trunk for $15. Still actually need to get the motor to my house. Should be picking up all the parts needed to convert my auto to a manual as well :D

Do you or does anyone know if these mounts would prohibit a turbo in the future?

I'm not sure if he was going to buy them from e30.de or not. As for a turbo I have no idea either. I'd contact E34 Biturbo Or Pat P. As he put a turbo Alpina engine into his e30 m3. He is a member over at Bimmerforums, or the Force induction forum on roadfly.org

think pat used the stock engine mount brackets. If I dont find anyone with the mounts here I'll be ordering them sometime this summer and I can have them copied

cool. Now we just got to find a good source for the older mounts. I got a couple more parts for the swap today.

and valve cover all from an E28.
