Damn!!! Porsche Beck 550S Spyder down the street this morning...
One quick way to check is when looking inside around the footwell area where the pedals are. The real Porsche 550 is different than the Beck Spyder.....with the latter offering more leg room. Aside from that detail, the Beck Spyder is considered a very good example of a replica because so many of the details mirror the original. You can pick one of those up as a new turn-key ride from Beck for mid-$20K range for the basic car which is good straight out of the box. It can be had for a little less if you want to assemble it yourself.

well, that takes about all the erection away... I admit it ran through my mind that if that thing was original, it would be rolling through some erotic neighborhood or parked in a garage getting pampered. I don't think I could roll in a kit/replica car unless it was an insanely classic car and built to the perfect specs. Then again, that car doesn't look like it would take much to do that?
