Its going to be one of those winters... whatcha plannin?

so today marks the one year anniversary of me buying my first e30 (86' 325e), and I figured in honor of that I would start this thread. I sanded down my entire car today, in preparation for some new paint. I fit on some plastic bumpers, and prepared my garage for the oncoming m30 swap. it will be a whole new car once the groundhog comes out.

What are your plans for the winter garage season?

Making sure my E30 starts every time I put the key in it. So far, so good. :-D

It's been over a year for my e30. Getting it some last couple new interior/exterior/under the hood replacement items and then it's sourcing all the parts I need for an engine swap. Possibly HID setup for new years...

Well, I'm still looking for a winter car (A4 quattro or 318IS, e36), so, for now I DD the cabbie (saw its first snow yesterday). Once it seats in the garage, I'll work on the new paint prep and some engine maintenance (paint intake manifold, finish my heatshield for the K&N, replace some gaskets, distributor cap, etc..)

+1! I'd be happy to help with your motor swap, I've always liked that motor in the e30.
