    Finally got the pics(56k=uhhh..no)

I finally got the pictures of the car I'm interested in buying. I've told you guys a little before, but I'll repeat along with posting the pictures. The car has 135k on it. It is an 89 325is. This owner bought it about 3 months ago from the original owner(BMW freak so we have all the records, and it was very well taken care of). The car was bought for his daughter who went out and bought a Honda. He paid around 4 grand and will not be make much if any on this deal. It is a 5spd with a good clutch, well taken car of inside and out. Apparently there is a small tear on the drivers seat, but he has covers on 'em right now. Timing belt is current. All oil changes and tune ups are ok. No real past problems...like I said it was owned by a BMW freak. The guy is askin' $4900, but I'll offer around the $4250 range. He will deliver it to me and he lives about 5 hours away. What kind of wheels are these on the car? It also comes with snow tires and wheels.

EDIT: Oh,ya it has a grey interior. Pictures don't really show.

...that's a lil too much IMO...I dunno what the going rate in your area is though...

I would offer $3600 and pay $3900 tops. You will def. have to replace some parts etc

The going rate on an is is a lot higher due to lack of availability. It is almost impossible to find an is for sale let alone one in good shape. The blue book on that car is perfect condition is $4675. It is not in perfect shape so that is why I'm talkin' $4250-$4500.

What are those wheels? They look fresh off a Beretta or something.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

if it's a nice car buy it.. $4200 doesn't sound like too much for a 325is in great condition to me. spend $2500 if you want a beater, or an ETA..
