    gauge rings

what do you guys think of these things? i got em a couple of years ago but i dunno if i like em anymore. every time i see a clean stock cluster, i regret putting these in. thinking about taking em out and maybe selling them. whats your opinion?

(not the best pic but all i could find)

*note, i also have the chrome z3 shifter, and acs replica brushed aluminum pedals. thinking about selling chrome shifter for brushed alum one though..

I like them, but I was getting bored of the same interior for 5 years. now I don't really notice them anyway. it was a fun diversion for about 3 weeks..

I think they look nicer with red needles. White needles & chrome just looks "too much" to me vs. red & chrome.

If you're sick of them, just get an extra cluster & switch between the 2 - nobody would buy your used rings IMO, they're $20 on Fleabay.

I like 'em on other peoples cars, I don't have a set.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

i had a red needle cluster not too long ago that i sold. i loved it, but dont know if id do it in my car. maybe the next e30 i get ill throw the chrome rings on and do red needles

I took it all apart and used 99 cent primer. But it's not as dark as the Alpina picture but close to it. There's diffferent color gray primers out there though.

I think they look awesome, but I like the brushed ones better. The chrome is a little too flashy.
