    I like them, but agree that they would look really good with some red needles.

      Josh is right. Chrome ones aren't as good as brushed aluminum. it took my awhile to find my brushed rings.

                The whole cluster will have a orange glow to it and not just the gauges with it light gray like that. I'd though i'd give you a heads up on that.

                          And if you grow tired of it or want a change, just paint it back to the color it was before. Cause i did have it painted black with the chrome cluster rings, but it looked like the gauges was lost in a sea of black with only a chrome ring for a outline. And tell you the truth, people that have been looking inside my car, the gauges are the first thing they see and complement.

                                I think the white needles are whats killing it. I really like them in mine, but I never even notice them anymore until I get in another E30 w/o them. Stock e30 clusters look unfinished to me now.

                                I can't decide if I want them in my E36 though.
