Sorry.
Well Mr. Brinkley, the next time I go to the junkyard, I'll bring my camera with me so I can punch through another e30 windshield for you. (I don't have a video camera)

It's not easy to do, but it is possible. I saw my little brother try it, and his hand just bounced off the windshield.

But, according to recent documentation as seen on TV, IF, you were messin' with Sasquatch, a windshield could indeed be shattered. I'm just saying.

Shop jerky, sticks, sausages and more – shipped straight to your door. Jack Link's has the meat snacks you need to power thru life with Original Protein.

Last parts car I was working on, I "tested" a side window with a standard hammer - FULL swing like a batter. It didn't even crack.

Another car (an poorly treated e32) I tested how much of a swing you have to give a car a "door ding" - you have to almost kick open a door to dent it to a steel beam. So if you have any or get some - you know it was an accident.

Plausible - I would not be surprised if BMW factory glass was made by GM - I heard that they had the market on glass for years in the 80 and 90's.

Windshields are relatively easy to break from the inside, tough from the outside for the same reason that dams are curved towards the water they're holding back.

The sad thing is that there's really no reason to think that this an act of revenge or that some enemy did it. Nowadays it's just as likely that a couple of kids were walking around and one just said "hey, check this out! *smash*". Probably has something to do with the fact that if you found out who did it, their parents would get mad at you for harassing their precious snowflake...

I would like to see a video of you punching through a modern windshield.

yeah. Modern windshields would literally break your hand if you tried to punch through one.
