              my check

              my oil light in the roof console just came on after braking hard down a hill. could the oil have slushed forward off of the sensor. oil level is 85% and its still on

                  I think I am not getting pressure from the oil pan to the top of the engine. does it make sense?.. any ideas on how to fix this...

                    You can pull it out and blast some brake clean through it to clean any muck out of it and let it dry. Make sure the oil is full or it sometimes won't go away.

                      ok the problem is thew OIL PUMP went out . it's going to cost me $620 for labor plus the parts ..

                              Sadly that figure is pretty accurate since you have to probably pull the subframe, front diff and all that crap to get the ix pan off. Sorry to hear the pump went out. Not a regular occurrence with these cars.

                                well I am not getting any oil pressure to the top of the engine.
                                I have to wait to get the parts and see what the total damage is.
                                if there anything else u guys might think is wrong. good thing the oil pressure warning light works......
