After 4000 miles on my new rebuild and two mineral oil changes, I switched over to BMW Synth. Also, reprogrammed remote door locks after memory was lost after 12-volt disconnect. Sealed bottom front windshield gasket with black silicone in bottom corners where some water leaked into my glove box and almost blew out my component crossovers. Getting ready to replace rear body panel (we KNOW they rust out on the newer bumper styles {{some lame water trap}}) and install G.C. coilover with Koni F & R top adjusters. Thinking Poconos track in Spring....wooo hoo..

guibo and csb replacement, tighten motor mounts, discover broken stud on $$ BMP solid motor mount on P/S, take heat shields to work and clean them in the barracuda, buy cherry bombs to replace the cat that my CAMZILLA destroyed 6 months ago, change mind about the cherry bombs after getting to work to do the cutting and welding to center section and go online to look for a muffler to do the same thing, top off MOBIL 1 syth. AFT in the tranny, change the MOBIL 1 synth gear oil and refill, change the oil filter, lube the shifter bushings, lube the heims on the sway bar links, look at mocking up the Porsche brakes, mock up the IX flares and side skirts, red out the tail light sections, paint the needles red on my euro cluster and analogue clock, clean the K & N and outerwears, clean the wires on the MAF, install front portion of the schroth auto-control belts, order momo wheel adapter, fix the mashed up seam on the pass. side rocker (caused by people jacking the car up by the seam instead of the reinforced jack ports) so the ix rocker covers will fix, re-polish the senikas then bag them up.....leave on jack stands until tomorrowseien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

Swapped out my loose wiper linkage for a good used unit. Fun, fun, fun. But the wipers move and park properly now.
I also found the "elephant trunk" water drain from the blower housing area was plugged up with pine needles and dirt. That's probably why my carpet was getting wet after a heavy rain or a snow. Yay for doing one job, and fixing two problems!
